Grange motors contact?

Who is the club contact in grange motors?

I scratched some guys 2001 VW passat and his mechanic reckons 1000euro for a tiny scratch on the front wing!!!!

140 for new front wing,

140 for paint,primer etc

the rest in 2 days work and VAT!!

any help folks?

If the wing is just 'scratched' then it doesn't need replacing. So if they have a new wing priced I'm guessing it's a bit more than a scratch? If it does need the wing then you have to allow for painting the adjacent panels, so the front door and bumper corner will be painted for colour match. In which case the price is a little steep, maybe 150 - 200 out but there could be more damage. It's the same as any trade - you can always find someone to do it for half the price, but more than likely it'll be a half arsed job.
