Calling all racers and people who just like a little madness !Just to let you guys know that that this year's Spook and Screamer will again take place on 30th and 31st oct. at the famous Ballyhoura Trail Centre. This year the " SCREAMER" which is the bike section of the shenannigans that go on at halloween in the truly haunted woods of Ballyhoura will be a two -stage two -day event. The first stage ( time trial) will be approx 17k on Sat night 30th OCT , followed by some food and a little party at the trail head. The second stage on Sunday 31st OCT will be approx 40k in daylight and promises to be, a little challenging, a little difficult,and a whole lot of FUN, followed by some food and the prizegiving .
Then for those that have kids there's the" SPOOK" on the Sunday evening, this is a haunted walk in the woods that will be alive with ghouls and ghosts that only appear once a year and choose Ballyhoura as their base for Halloween.Everybody is encouraged to dress up for this including the adults,there is an amazing atmosphere around the place on Halloween night and well worth the visit.
