OC Tuning Excellent Service

Well folks, if you have not been using the services of James in OC Tuning get down and start using them. My rear shock on the Cannondale winter bike was not in the best of shape, popped into James with the bike, he took the shock off there and then, pulled it apart and gave it a full service, put it back on the bike, set it up with the correct sag and tuned the gears while it was on the bike stand. Of course the brakes felt a bit soft so he bleed them as well so that they feel real crisp and solid now.

There are very few things James cannot sort out on the bike, he will get you sorted if you are stuck and has the craic while he is at it. Its a gift to have such a service in Dublin, the days of packing up forks and shocks and sending them to the UK are over thankfully.

Pop in and support James, he has spend the year supporting all the XC and DH races.
Make sure you let him know you are a member of EPIC and he will look after you.

The only downside I could think of is the workexperience lad he has in there with him!!

I'd say that workexperience lad will be back flipping burgers in McD's soon enough,will the OC Tuning experience be dragged "downhill" by him!!!LOL

Yeah, James looks after me and Robs bikes also, always great service & value.

I'm working abroad at the moment and James is going to build a bike for Rob while I'm gone.

He also manages source difficult to get parts no problem.

Yes James is a legend. He has supported Dan Sheridan all year in his UK races and there has never been a problem with Dan's bike. Dan finished 3 rd overall in the UK series and James has to take credit for his excellent service and dedication to the DH scene. Thanks James

I take it back, that work experience lad isn't half bad!

If he was any use at all he'd have had your mech sorted in the carpark last night.

Though there was some serious gunthering being done to Fergal's bike at one stage.

well, there's not much anyone can do when I insist on battering bits of my bike off rocks, also - he insisted on tightening all the bearings on the bike when we had seen one of the pivot bolts had come loose, I'd shop at O'Greg Tuning anyday!
Basil - did you attempt a turnsy-bars or a full-on x-up when you floored yourself last night? that was some awful thud you hit the ground with, I felt it from 50 ft away!

Got a bit off line going over the crest, tried to straighten it up but turned the bars too quickly, gravity took over after that. The ground was further down than I imagined. What followed was one of those slow motion moments where you realise the bike is coming down on top of you, you roll, raise a leg and deftly sweep the bike to one side with the outstretched foot - a strangely satisfying manoeuvre when you get it right.

It was one of those spins where anyone not eating dirt at some stage really wasn't trying hard enough!

And to break with tradition and bring this back on topic - those SLX brakes James fitted for me are only brilliant. Can't see how you'd get better for the money.
