Just wondering is ther anyone from ye're part of the country heading to this?
Its gonna be a great race, Just incase anyone is unfamiliar with it, its a two day event on the Halloween weekend, a night time, 12km time trial on saturday the 30th at 7.30pm and a 40km day race on the sunday. The night race will be a fun warm up where you'll meet lots of strange things lurking out in the forest to motivate you to cycle faster! On your return( if you return) there will be an after party with music and plenty food laid on. Free for racers of course. Also feel free to dress up in a costume as you wont be alone! As for the day race, well if your familiar with the ballyhoura trails get ready to learn some new ones that arent on any of those maps.:) It will use some of those trails but also alot of challenging stuff you wont have seen before. It will be hard but definately fun. And another feed awaits you at the end of the day of course. Im fairly sure Ryan Sherlock won this last year so he'll surely be back to defend one of his many titles. Im gonna personally try and frighten the livin Sh**t out of him on the night stage, so much so that he gives up cycling and gives others a chance of winning. :)
