I was looking at this earlier today as I was thinking about getting a second light. Is it just me or is the picture of the beam on terra 2 (which they gave 4.5-5 stars) really badly lit with no range or flood? Seems interesting that they'd give such high marks to a light which doesn't look all that great.

I'm assuming that they take the low price of the light (£100) into consideration when they are awarding the stars?
And please lets not start the Magcishine debate ....... again!!!
There's no way I'd base a decision on either those reviews or pictures. Talk to your fellow night riders who are not in the pocket of advertisers. Then do what most sensible people do a buy the Hope Vision 2's.
the nukeproof works well when its working there a little tempremental but that said if you get one and have a problem return it to where u bought it and they will replace it no questions asked
well i have a Nuke proof and it stopped working twice in a spin..i gave out a about it and Michael cowan asked the designer to sort me out..he said he would but it started working again then gave up the ghost again and I couldn;t be arsed sending it back or getting it fixed..why should I, the feckin thing wrecked my head..unless i'm hand delivered it by a dirty woman I wouldn't use one again !! Dons drove him mad and I'm sure Gazpws did as well !
I don't want a repaired one..I want a brand new one guarenteed not to stop working when I'm halfway down Camaderry in total darkness.
The Hopes have never once let me down.
they were â¬180 in Hollingsworth last year to EPIC members..loads of us have them..I've used more lights and done more night rides than anybody so i consider myself The Authority on them.
Buy the Hopes or if you have the money light and Motions ( Leds) between me and Alfie and Smithers we've logged a serious amount of night rides using them and they have more than paid for themselves.
Eh, just remembered I had to buy a new cable from battery to light, as it was flickering on/off. new cable sorted the prob. they (nuke proof) are a bit heavy on a helmet, recommend bringing you lid to the shop to see how it fits.
