No more Mr Mud Face

Anyone notice how mud free my eyes were on Sunday? Well I did, and here's why, best gadget ever. I'd put it up there with the wheel, sliced bread and suspension forks.

yeap had one for last nights fun and no mud in the eyes and there was alot there last night
why bother buying one when you can just cut open an old tube and cable tie it on. They work a treat weather it be a home made one or the off the shelf option. My gripe with the off the shelf option is that mud and Velcro don't get on to well with each other so having a mudguard that attaches using Velcro is a bad idea.
So what do you do with it, cut out those little eyes and wear it over your face like a mask?

Hahahahhahaaaa! My wallet is bulging alright, but it is full of straw, looks good in the pocket but is embarrasing when I have to pay for anything.
I really wish I had one.. I just love the way it stops mud getting in your eyes... and isn't it just great the way the mud builds up behind the fork stanchions... sitting there... gathering... piling up.. right where your stanchions are going up and down... up and down... with all the mud building up & pushing against the stanchions of your forks...

Very clever...!

hahahahahahahahaha !!! post of the week !!!
Funny Gerry, I thought about that and thought of you! BUT, I didn't notice and more mud in that area than any other spin, so it must be washing away, and you can always squirt your water bottle there every 5 minutes, or drill speed holes in them, or ride backwards, or get kalkalash coated stanchions like mine.
i want to know how Gerry would know about what Mud does..but hes probably under the covers spraying wd40 on his nethers and his bikes mutttering " preciousss, my precioussss!!!"
Anyway, f*ck the stanchions, my eyeballs are a lot softer than my stanchions and worth much more. Gerry, you will be staggering around in a few years with a white cane looking for your pristine stanchions!
