Light Problem "Lupine"

I was out last week in very wet weather, light worked fine all was good...returned home very wet but happy...recharged battery and left light on rad to dry out..
Went to go out the other nite and light wouldnt work..everything was dead...checked battery and it was charged...the switch is holding little water and hasnt dried out completely...the little lights in the switch are all dead also...any ideas muchio appreciatedio..

heres an idea...throw it in the bin and buy a hope light

Leaving it on the radiator to dry out is not a good idea as condensation will build up inside the unit.. even if it is 'sealed'.... so when you connected the fully charged battery you more than likely caused a short circuit and blew the bollix out if it..!

stick it in a bowl of rice and stick it in the hot press. The rice works like that silica gell stuff that you get in the box of most electrical goods. It will leach out the water and it should be all good to go.
