White paint attack

Went for a night ride in Douce wood last night and came across what I'd describe as vandalism.
I'm not sure of the name of the piece of track but it's like a small downhill track with about 3 jumps, a burm, drop to fire road, drop from fire road across fire road and over a another jump.
It's a well ridden trail any very easy to follow. Even on a night ride.
Now there is numerous arrows and words like drop painted on trees.
It all seems very unnecessary and a tad over the top.
I'm a goober but even i know if you see a horizon line on the ground ahead of you there might be a drop.
Who ? Why?

Does Coilte have a health a safety officer running around the woods with a tin of white paint ?

i don't think its kids they wouldn't be arsed or care about that. Its more like those super goobers from mountainbiking .ie or what ever they call tehmselves
