They may not be the best looking or the best singers in Irish Mountainbiking but nobody else has ever done anything like this.

good thinking alright, but it was only afterwards that I thought that the local rags would have probably been interested in it, not sure if it'd be too late to drop them a line or two, though I've no idea what local papers would cover the area......??
unfortunately one of the areas that was cleaned-up got destroyed by scobies with cans and tents etc... on the Saturday night - I was disgusted when I saw it on Sunday afternoon - we were told by a local walker that they are always up there so not too much we can do about it except to let Coillte/Gardai know about it - though they probably know already
Brilliant work Fergal/MAD - we should all take a lesson from that and spend a Saturday morning every couple of months to do a clean-up of a forest such as, obviously in EPIC's case, the Leadmines. Important to make it clear that its mountain bikers doing the work - great PR
Fergal, my kids are making â¢â¢â¢â¢e of my house, how are MAD fixed this weekend for a spot of spring cleaning? You can bring your bikes and ride around the house, that will learn the little hellions.

Southside People would cover the area and they are put free through every letterbox in the area.
