Race of the year - I didn't race nothing due to my Commissaring and PA duties..but if there was one I would have liked to have raced ( non Epic ) The MAD 3 Rock NPS but there were at least 2 others , Wexford and Slade I would have loved to race.
Rider of the Year - Club wise - Killian for sure with Kellyer a close second.
Rider of the year - Nationally - Oisin Boydell from MAD
Mountainbiker of the Year - The Greg
I'm still not happy the Development races got no recognition from the Suits..i'm fierce angry actually but thats the way it goes..but either way the EPIC Club league is number 1 for best participation year after year and if there was any justice..thats what people should talk about !
oh yeah..we don't mind pontificating for pages about gravity dropper seatposts and frickin tyres or whinging in the shadows about what a bollix i am..but when it comes to praising the deadly ,you're all as tight a a Nuns chuff !!

Race of the year - MAD, IMBRC, Lady Dixon ... but probably for me the Marathons.
Epic rider - Killian for sure and Adamski a close 2nd (still can't believe he won "my" Club League and didn't bother turning up to collect the trophy!!)
Rider of the year - Oisin or Joe.
Ride of the year - Robin apologising to everybody for "compromising" their race in Slade valley - awesome to watch.
Mountainbiker of the year - Greg but I don't know why he doesn't give up that DH stuff and concentrate on XC!
Well my 4yo votes no 1 race based on how many bouncy castles there are............
Only two NPS races I was at were EPIC and MAD NPSes and even then only in a spectator / marshall capacity, these races were a credit to both clubs. Blast was pretty special though !
Spin of the year – Some of the evenings in 3 rock in the dry were hilarious, laugh out loud fun.
Race of the year - Club races were great – that one (I think there was only one) where it was raining heavily at the start and people were saying – 'is it worth it?' well, it was, that one sticks out in my mind as being great because after so many weeks of dryness people dug deep to find their inner-wet-rider and surprised themselves by doing some amazing times.
Rider of the Year – in terms of ability to break absolutely everything on and off the bike – there can only be one – Bryan the Rhinestone the bike shops & I do salute you.
Rider of the year – For me I learned loads from the great men of mtb'ing –Richie, Stu, John Doris, Alfie, luke, even the quiet man Gerry Mac have all given me some great insights into mtb'ing.
Mountain-biker of the Year – O' holy Gregnatious. Great to watch, great going up a hill as well as down, and that's what it's all about isn't it?
Spin..The 1st one up to Lug,on a Sunday with the sun splitting the stones and the rangers advising us not to break the rules!!Which we may have when they left..
Race..Club League,as I rode in 19 of them and marshalled once,loved every second.Also the Marathon Champs,as I finished well
Club Rider...Adamski,went well in both clun league and the NPS.Surprised a lot of people with his faster pace this year.
National Rider..Robin Seymore,just cause he seems to be so much quicker than the rest of us.
Mountain biker.....Greg,you dont win the Blast being average,plus I had a great race with him one night in the club league,so he can do xc too.
Plus Richie and loads of people in Epic deserve a big thanks from me,for giving me advice, encouragement and dragging me around the hills of Wicklow this past year.

Spin of the year â Night spin up Camaderry, or was that last year? Every spin up Camaderry wins for me.
Race of the year - Excluding the Blast as an obvious winner it was the Club races. Dry races nearly all year, chasing lap times all summer, racing FS then HT, the pain, the craic, it had it all.
Rider of the Year â I thought Mikkky was very impressive at the Club races, Robin was awesome at the Nationals, but it has to be adamski.
Mountain-biker of the Year â I'll go with Greg too, he makes it look far too easy when we all know it not.
come on all you lurkers from other clubs..get your finger out. This is a feelgood thread about positive sh!t !! step up and lets get an even better vibe going for 2011 !!

But for sheer mindblowing Gnar..it is top of the list any year.
I never Vote for Bob, because hes the obvious choice !! have you people no imagination..

Next year I will open a Hall of Fame competition.
