Wicklow 200

Ok I know it clashes with the 6th round of the NPS, who's doing it?

I liked the race in Killaloe so if they sort out a few things there for this year (parking etc.) I won't give it up for a smelly 200k road race.
Jackson will be probably doing it, he likes that long distance stuff.

I was hoping to do it too .... an Epic Train would have been fun? But not instead of an NPS for me, apart from the walk up to the start, MBUL was a good race last year!

Yeh I enjoyed, Killaloe too, except for the puncture/slashed tyre.

I'll bet you did ... sure between yourself, Buggle and Vinnie and your bloody Motorhomes you took over all the parking up at the start and the rest of us poor plebs had to hike all our gear up from the "valley below"!! Lovely day and amazing views from the course though as far as I remember?

Well if you had of got there early you would have got parking up the top, yeh lazy git.

No, I never said I was doing it or the full thing inanyways there is an option for 100k I believe. Anyway I was just asking jeeeez!!

I have signed up and paid to do the 200 this year.Doing it with a roadie mate of mine,who I suspect will be in more pain doing it than me!!

I have done it every year for the last 5.. prob do it again.

@ Dave,can you give us an idea what its like??How long did it take you,are the climbs a killer,is the route easy to follow etc??The hardest thing I ever did on a bike was the Cooley Thriller and the Marathon Champs last year,I know its not fair to compare a 60k off road event to a 200k on road ride,but will 200k WW leave me in the same heap as when I finished the Thriller??

7 hours on road bike and 8 on hardtail . its easy on road bike . i will not be there this year,doing nps.similar sort of effort to marathon champs .

i thought you might have gotten over them two events by now !!
