So I lost my garmin 705 yesterday, probably on Bag o Chips or the short little grassy trail after it. If I get a chance in the next day or two to head back up there and look for it I will but on the off chance anyone is up there and they happen to find it if they could let me know, cheers.

I wonder do the Laws of Salvage apply to Garmins lost on BagOChips? Seriously John I've dropped my Garmin 3 or 4 times and I've slowely walked back over the track and eventually found it every time - got to be worth a try!

next time you lose it go back immediately to see if you can find it.
as the next day it could well be on someone else's bike.
that uk price is dearer than the superstore here, and i'm sure byrner will beat it.
I paid 420 i think for my 800 with all the bells attached, the same one, on your link is €435 ish not including vat.
Cheers Terry. If I can't find it I'll definitely be replacing it with either the 500 or the 800. After looking at yours and Oz's yesterday the new mounting looks alot better and far less likely to fall off.
Just checked again there Terry and the prices on that site are a fair bit cheaper than CRC or cyclesuperstore, Inc the vat. Not sure what the postage is but i imagine it'll still be cheaper than CRC or CSS!
superstore have a sale on so ring them plus I was left a mount short and they sorted it.

For the small amount in it I would go with Byrner if you can.

To late, I'm off on a treasure hunt. I have Max the beagle with me I let him sniff your wheel bags but whlie he was doing that he had an accident on them (Sorry) so now were off to find the Garmin.
