Epic DH Champs results

Well now here are the results from the Epic DH champs that were on yesterday. A huge turn out from the new club with lots of ya’s signing up to us yesterday, which was great to see. 58 in total, there are 3 pages in the results, first and second run times, overall positions and Epic DH champs positions. I’ll do a full report very soon. Well done to everyone that was out building and racing over the weekend and congratulations to all the winners. Our fastest member is now Mr. Cummins well done sir. Until next time.

P.S. I don't want to know how many names I spelt wrong, I nearly lost the will to live sorting these out so make the most of them.

Adam.
yep fair play to all involved 58 riders thats a huge turnout for a club event... and i thought cummins only looked good!!!
Well done lads. Great result Paul and look at "The Gregs" time ..... all that XC and road work must be paying off!!
yes..The Greg, traitorous pig dog that he is, shows what can happen with some vomit inducing road and xc spins can do for a lad, and was he on his new machine ?

Yeah... couldn't agree more.... Greg was never very fast on a DH bike anyway.... all that road work is obviously paying off.. FFS...!!
Thanks Sean and Adam for having us non club members along and organising a savage day... 60 people is a massive turn out for any club, and you lads are only going a couple of months!

Was good to be back on the downhill bike again, the new bikes a weapon of a yoke! and Gerry, the training is paying off, sure that was my second day on a downhill bike since October... ya mad yoke!

Check out big red's savage line in the middle section...

Fair play to ya Greg.....road bikes, XC bikes, DH bikes.......someone who just likes riding his bike(s)
Ye I was standing there watching when he took that line. It's definitely quicker than the normal line everyone else was sticking to.

reminds me of another scrawny young lad on a homemade bike, long ago in a Galaxy far away !!
Well done the fast lads and ladies great results and big thanks to Adam and Sean for giving up their race runs to allow us to settle in to our first race of year.I saw a lot of new faces there today enjoying the craic and giving it their all keep it up.Saturdays digging was a fantastic effort as Sean said and the combined effort in clearing track was great to be part of.The great thing about these digging days is people get to know each other especially the new people.Well done EPIC DH on great first event it was like a mini NPS. Also great to bump into Richie and the savages who all looked super fit and hungry for action.Joe and myself got away lightly without been tied to a tree for some mid spin abuse. The sight of baggyness and flab must have turned them off as they tore off in search of lycra clad victims great to see you lads. New people dont be but off by your run times. The main thing is to get a clear run and be able to identfy where you were slow and work on better lines and speed next time.Great day
