Healing Vibes needed

Everybody send healing vibes at Eoin Keith please..the dope broke his fibula..thats part of the leg.
Too skinny if you ask me, not eating pounds of kerrygold between slices of fried bread has him snapping like a stickman !!
get well soon Eoin..
ye dope !
I know the score - I am at week 4 of my broken fibula, going feckin mad. Stupid fookin cast. 2 weeks to go, its healing well and was not too painful after the first week. The biking Gods are testing my comeback - making sure i really meant it! if it doesn't kill you it will make you stronger.

pm me any questions about it Eoin.

I'm going to assume that you're joking?

Really sorry to hear that Eoin - you've had a bad run of luck! Hope you recover soon!
On the positive side you can come to the nutrition talk at the end of the month now!!
Sorry to hear that neighbour, How did you break your leg when you must still be recovering from the collar bone? Out running i'll bet!
Jeebus Eoin, sorry to hear that, even with all those broken bones you'd still beat me in a hill run, get well soon.
I guess with the mental strength necessary to run 24 hours non-stop around a track then a broken leg is only a minor annoyance! Get well soon Eoin - we await your next crazy ultra-escapade!! (How about, in your current condition, going for the world 24 hour hopping record?! - I reckon you'd do it!)
Eoin had a little spill in that other sport, the one which is normally so safe. The hill-arious one. Very fast descent down a recently felled section, on one of the machine tracks, real muddy with brashings sticking up through it. A very fun descent as it happens, but not without risks. Unfortunately Eoin snagged a foot on a protruding stick and went down heavily. He was in second place at the time and all.

Still, no better man for the recovering from injury and coming back as good as before. Sort of like the Cummins of mountain running.

As someone who has been suffering for what seems forever with the same injury you can be sure i meant that in good humour!
Thanks for all the healing vibes lads. I need them.

Basil has decribed it well there. You can see a photo of me doing my Gandalf impression to try and get myself off the hill here. Speaking softly, but carrying a big stick! Basil was ambulance driver on the day (not for the first time either). It's great to have solid reliable friends like that around when things go wrong. I was expertly carried off the hill by the fastest manual ambulance assembled in Ireland (Peter O'Farrell and Keith Heary), which included fireman's lifting at the end. Thanks feck there's no photos of that!

Broken bones aren't the worst thing in the world... at least they heal fully (normally). The real annoying thing is not being able to head to Ecuador now . So yeah, might make the nutrition talk now!

And if anyone near my gaff is heading to the member's night tomorrow, I'd be grateful if I could snag a lift... can't cycle there this year, goddamit!
