full freakin suss !! theres no experience like it !! try and ride it to the top !! one of the best descents you'll ever do !! theres photos in the Gallery of us I think !

did you go up from llanberis
yeah..you can go up from Beddelgeret but its a hike near the top..I think its called the Huntsmans..going up from Llanberis is the one thats always recommended !
I'd love to go down that huntsmans !! the only thing is you really need good weather !

If you go to/from Llanberis make sure you call in to Pete's Eats afterwards and order the Big Jim Special, but beware its been known to make a grown man weep :)

Jaysus Richie, is that the poolroom in the Padarn. It looked the same last October when I was there :o Nice pictures, was up on Carreg Wasted meself but got rained off. Was staying in one of the huts for the weekend, there was a dude with an mtb riding the slate quarries at night in the rain, now thats serious hard core :)

oh no that was the Heights Hotel, Circa 1995 I'd say !!! before the savage drug scene took over the place !
I was sitting there one night with Kev Cooper, Tony Burke and Paul o Sillivan ( if you are any sort of Climber you'd know who those guys are !!)
and these east 17ers were giving us lip and burning £10 notes to show us how cool they were !!
Its also where I introduced Ron Browner to Rock Climbing !! who as far as I know did the first ever irish ascent of Lord of the Flies !!!
People think my life as a supreme being began with MTBing..they'd be wrong !!!
