St. Annes some good digging done last week, The LezLar line has a nice new take off on the 2nd, 8th is a nice berm to berm jump with some more fun after it. Also has a LezLarLeft line which claimed it's 1st victim already, trails in good nick and running nice. Remember if your going out bring a shovel.
Enniskerry - lots of repair and upgrade work going on again-bring a shovel.
Evenings starting to get longer still riding at 6pm.
Moycullen - the air bag is making a re-appearance next weekend (Sat 12th)(not this one) put that in the diary for some serious craic.
One of the young lads wanted a go of my dirt jumper today down in Chuckies so i traded a go on his BMX. Was surprised how much crack you can have on a BMX. The size of em you can really chuck them around.
Might have to get one for the...erm.... kids
what's a good entry level one and what kinda money we talking
If you want one, come and see me. I'll sort you out with a 24" Felt Cruiser if you want but I have loads of Felt BMXs and a couple of Diamondback Tanks I'd be happy to bargain away !
rode a we the people trust today and liked it, 4130 chromo as opposed to the alu race bikes i've been riding lately, wtp are good, delux do a lovely complete, sundays are good, Richie might get you a nice felt, good value, like anything in bikes depends on what you want to spend on your (ehem) kids. just get something almost anything will do. but it has to be black and white or you'll not be cool.
used to ride some of the smaller sets in the chuckies years and years ago, have been talking about getting back into it for a good while. was seriously contemplating going for a dirt jumper hard tail like a dmr or a specialised p1, but i think a bmx would be a better option to see if i can get back into it..
dont wanna spend 800 on a dirt jumper when i could pick up a decent bmx for half that.
