Horses on new trails at 3rock!

Hey guys,

Just to let you know Aine was up on the new trail at 3rock tday, while she was coming down 20 ppl on horses coming up. The lady in charge was making a joke "if you hear of a row you know what happened haha".
Something has to be done about this.

Just letting you guys know as to be aware whats around the next corner!

I actually have no problem with that, theres nothing to say No horses on it, they're probably having a go at Coillte themselves.
There should be a massive big sign in Ticknock car park saying whats what and everybodys welcome , just use some commonse and don't go up this on horses or down this on bikes and that one over there is fine for going up on bikes but everythings walkable but put some cop on in your flasks while doing so and anybody , whatever their method of transport is, caught deliberatly causing conflict will be arrested and banned from the place forever.
If i had a freakin buffalo I'd ride it up there..in case people hadn't noticed theres a tarmac road to the top of 2 rock, several concrete structures and a couple of bums living there..so its hardly a park and more a housing estate.
Actually its a suburb of Dublin..
Imagine 20 motorbikes going down it with 20 horses coming up it !!

This topic is getting old now, well ok the horses are new, last time it was walkers.

But as I said before if we start making demands about those two trails(which are far from the best or most challenging) we could end up in a situation where they are the only trails we are allowed on.

For fcuk sake my young fella is only a year and a half and he understands sharing better than some "adults".

Do you really think so ? ok, they're not technically challenging as such but I think Metro did a really good job with the gradient they had to work with. They put in lots of drops that you can pop off which are a bit of fun. I was expecting Ballyhoura but we got trails that are a hell of a lot better. Fun to try to ride them as fast as possible.

They are not the best or most challenging, they are grand for what they are but there are better trails on the three rock, and I would rather never ride the Coillte trails and give them over to walkers, horses, dogs, cats, Pygmies, Eskimos and maybe the odd dragon than be banned from from all the better trails on the mountain.

The trails on 3 rock had too many walkers, motoxers, Horse riders and MTBers on them 20 years ago and after a recent visit to try out the new trails I would have to say I was a bit disappointed still too many of all of the latter and the new trails are too short they would be good as part of a bigger trail center like Ballinastoe but just leave you with the sense you haven't been anywhere.
