Gave it a go.....

Well I went over to St Annes today to see what all the fuss is about bmx. Eamon (hairoil) kindly showed me around the track and lent me a bike. Some lunatic jumps there, but the local lads make it look so easy. I stuck to the pump track and the basic level run which has a few small table tops. Just rolling them at first then getting a bit of air ( probably just an inch but it is a start) Eamon bullied a few young lads into giving me a run on their bikes so I could get a feel for the different types. Real relaxed atmosphere up there, everyone very friendly and welcoming from the younger kids up to the more grown up kids.

st annes was always a great track.

used to ride there years ago on my peregrine expert!!!

have myself a eastern bike now but my collar bone might have refractured playing football... ill know in a few days

St Annes is great fun, until you wake up with Sean giving you mouth to mouth.
