Friday evenings kids spins 7.00 Various locations

next week sees the first of Richie Byrnes kids spins.
BMX or MTB..
all ages as long as they are able to ride without stabilizers.
Criteria.
A parent must accompany Kid, i am not a baby sitter but I am a Cycling Ireland Coach and qualified SMBLA guide. as well as being the godfather of Irish Mountainbiking.
now these will be fun and entertaining spins in Parks to begin with.
We'll start off real easily and work our way up.
Theres absolutely no charge for this, i just think its needed.
Next Friday its 7.00pm at the entrance to Rathsallagh Park between shankill and Bray. it will only be an hour Max and we'll have the craic.
i'll move it around each week over the summer, eventually we'll start a club, start racing or not, develop our skills as cyclists, promote BMX and MTB and responsible cycling and eventually take on the world in International races and the Olympics ,
a helmet is absolutely necessary.
PARENTS This is your opportunity to look like a god.

I'll be there with Ross and probably his sister, happy to give a hand.

Great idea, how long would they want to be off the stabilisers? I'm going to start Aoibhin without hers over the next few weeks, I'd love to bring her along.

once they are off and you are with her..then shes fine.

Will deffo try and make this with Shona, is Rathsallagh park the one with the nice kids playground next to the road?

yeah its Shanganah park actually !! park in the Carpark beside the graveyard !

Bringing my 5yr old nephew along. Hes bike mad.
Has anyone more specific directions? I can see Shanganagh Rd on the map but its heading toward Killiney, not Bray.

Orla we used to ride past it on our road spins on a Thursday night! Through Shankill village and it's about 1km on the left - you can't miss it!
