Ticknock Trails - worn already!

I was up on 3-Rock on Tuesday night and I went down the new trails - I was surprised to see how worn they are already. Unless there is some maintenance plan in place they're going to be "in flitters" by the end of the summer! There must be huge traffic on them!

did you not know that they've been designed in the Coillte exclusive neo-classical zero-maintenence * mode?

* There you are - there's your trails (you mucky feckers) - stay on them and don't go anywhere else - don't come crying to us when you wear them out

who cares.. we were up there Tuesday and only used them to get to even better natural trails..

good winter trails for when you don't want to wreck the decent ones, like those new ones on Tuesday - a Rollercoster of offroad fun!

They have done a good job in these trails, however I agree that they will need to be maintained. I would imagine that a few good floods will have the trails back to new again. The weather has been very dry, so there is a big build up of peat/fine gravel/clay etc in places.

Anyway Ballinastoe will be nice and quite in the evenings, for a while :)

I missed the irony last night as the ironyning board is broken.

I have a non irony shirt i got in M&S.....

I have some of them as well..deadly they are !

its like goldy or bronzy but with iron !!

What kind of voodoo is this? Do they work?

indeed they do..I have been complimented many a time by people at board meetings and such.

Are the trails marked at Ticknock and secondly is it worth the trip from Belfast?
