Bank Holiday Weekend BMX Track Building

The soil building part is well advanced, this weekend is some shaping, laying hardcore and crushed rock on Saturday evening, Sunday and Monday.
If you can spare a few hours on any of the days that would be great. Bring a shovel and a rake!
Location is google maps - enter "Fariyhouse Road" entrance is opposite Glascarn Lane - park there. Needless to say don't bring a bike or your infant children.

That looks unreal lads, sorry i couldn't get out to lend a hand, let us know when the next day out is and i'll wash me wellies.

Beautiful,amazing,world class build,impressive,God I can't give enough words to describe that track.Reminds me of when I was 14 yrs old,but the BMX tracks back then,while good,were'nt a patch on the new Ratoath track!!

Thanks MiKKKy, the tracks have changed a bit since we were kidz, but BMX racing is still the best fun you can have on a bike. The track is looking like a world class build and it's coming along nice, Danny McCann is the digger driver and he's a gem! BMX is a special sport, it make you younger, that's a fact! I'm 14!
Bryan, wash those wellies - I'll post up when the next work day is, it's worth coming out just to have a look at it, it only 20 minutes from Rathfarnham. 5 mins from the Blanch!
Connor for BMX you need a bike, lid & gloves a 20" BMX bike would be optimum but you can ride a suspension bike if you like.
Lar broke his wrist(s) last week but still came on the work days & managed to put a video together - now that's commitment. I'm glad ye like the look of it, you'll love riding it
