Long spin - be prepared

I'm thinking about another long spin soon and its essential we have no stops if we're to get the whole thing done.
So that means no mechanicals no punctures

Punctures are 79% avoidable (I know what I'm talking about here!)
Lots of pressure- most punctures are tube pinch flats. Ride light particularly on the back.
Tubeless plenty of goo. Big volume tyres. If you must have a tube try downhill ones.
Spare tubes and ensure you can change them quick.

Broken chains are 88% avoidable (I have broken more than a few chains too)
Dont go out with your gears jumping all over the place - your chain will break.
Try to avoid gearchanges under load - your chain will break.

you're a very nice person..on my spins if you get a puncture or a broken chain you are abandoned !! getting a puncture in these Tubeless times is a criminal lack of cool. As for breaking chains..
