Well that was brilliant..
now I am not doing a blog about the Golden Nipples on the wheels of my Felt Compulsion LTD , I like what the bikes do..I like what the bits do, i like what the bits look like and I like the bits people i respect tell me are deadly !!
But most of all I like the people who ride the bikes..most of them anyway !!
I am not in the Bike business long..I should have done years ago but hey, i'm here now, first of all I'd like to thank John Donnelly of the CycleSuperstore for asking me along and involving me and Eurocycles.
And Stewart Carr for all the effort he went in to helping me with all the stuff I needed for Eurocycles, like the little signs, the tent branding and all the other stuff.
And James O Carroll, Derek from Giant, Mick and Rob from the Cycle Inn and especially Peter popham, who did a lot of work in the background and if you live in Bray or that way pop in to him and buy a bike off him, hes been contributing to the Irish Mountainbike scene quietly for as long as i can remember, hes in Bespoke Cycles on the Vevay Road.
An enormous thanks to Maura Coyne our Head of Retail and the legend that is Aidan Duff our Managing Director for backing me on this one, with all the bikes,the Ice Cream Van and the T-Shirts, and special mention to Richie Greene, hes the NewBridge Eurocycles manager ! Shane Griffin my number 1 Staff member, Raul the unfortunate new guy who I gave all the sh1t jobs to, thanks Raul !! and of course Carol and Sophie for all their help !
And a big thanks to all the people who came along today and supported this initiative !!
We're not going to get out of this recession sitting on our hands blaming David mcWilliams and Eddie whatshisname !! we will by buying local..
