Sad that my 1st post is of this nature.
On saturday (June 18 ) my son's Specialized Hardrock 2010 was stolen in Rathmines, from outside the DIT building between the new gym and Tramco.
It happened between 1430 and 1730 approx. He tells me it had been properly locked with a black combination lock.
It's black, the 2010 edition with mechanical disc brakes, it's either 13 or 15 inch, but 13 afaik.
This was a gift for his 13th birthday and we were due to hit Ticknock for the 1st time on Tuesday, I'd finally bought him helmets, pads etc. I'm absolutely gutted. Especially so close to father's day....
If anybody should happen to spot this on a gumtree type site, please let me know. It's fairly pricey for a bike of its size, so might only appeal to enthusiasts and/or their kids...
The bike was bought in South Down's Cycles in the UK and would conceivably have their sticker on it somewhere.
I plan on finding out more specifics (s/n, exact size) as soon as they open. The frame was pretty much unblemished, although the rear brake had an annoying squeak....
