hey that was deadly..I am destroyed and if you're not you should be..another EPIC occasion ruined by drink and messing..you should all be proud..a big thank you to everybody who attended including our celebrity guests and their friends..

Jer Price ( Skippy) was awarded Club member of the year..
For all his efforts with the Club, from digging, being great craic on the spins to being the best Chief of Operations any outfit could have. plus hes a really sound guy with a dominant EPIC gene.

The most Improved rider award went to both Carol and Sylvia. There were other very notable riders this year but these pair stood out the most.
Both have showed serious commitment to their riding. Trying everything, both XC and Downhill and they both worked really hard to be real EPIC riders. So fair play to both of them.

Al Maxwell is the new Club Secretary , Rossco is stepping down from that savage role but staying on the Committee.
New Committee members are GavD and Skippy. So welcome aboard guys.

In 2009 the clubs focus will be on Spins and having the craic. The reason we started the club in the first place.
There will still be people racing and we are after all running a Winter DH race, an XC NPS and The Blast
We will run a DH NPS eventually as soon as we get a good enough Venue.
But primarily we will be all about the spins.
So get yourselves out on spins, meet other people with similiar riding goals and away you go.

thanks a lot epic for a great night, jesis I'm in rag order today though,
I'll never get into a taxi with sauced-up Alfie again.....

That was a laugh, brilliant speeches from the committee and well done all the winners. As for the food, well they will be talking about that for years to come. It's amazing what Roo can rustle up with a loaf of white pan, a lump of butter and a few sausages.
