On Sunday 13th December I will be looking to recruit new XC riders for the 2010 Season. If you are an existing XC rider I want to see you there and if you are considering XC racing I want to see you there also. I'm looking for lapsed and new members.
If you are an XC rider from another Club who want to join in on the day you're more than welcome.
I am also insisting that senior DH racers attend as this type of training will add to their abilities on the DH amchine
All categories are welcome but ladies and Juniors ( 16-18 ) particularly needed.
A decent level of fitness is also required.
If you have any questions contact me at
richie.byrne(at)gmail.com
lets try this again , due to some sort of cerebral meltdown I got my dates wrong.
so we are doing this on the 13th December.
For reasons pertinent to XC development I have to go to the Cross race in Corkagh on the 6th December.
So if you are interested in Xc racing in 2010 regardless of club be in Djouce for 10.00am on the 13th December.
Yes I am sure this time and it would be fantastic if people could spread this notice on the other Sites please.
I have had a few enquiries but i would like a lot more.
XC racing needs a face lift and a whole crop of new enthusiastic riders. Richie.
Now lads..
this is for serious XC racer types..from Sports to Elite..
You can wear baggies and flats and sport Camelbaks
but thats not what i'm after..if you can stick it to me and the *******s in that get up, i will respect you for a thousand years.
But..
lycra and fast bikes wil be the order of the day. Its not a beginner spin and you will need a decent level of fitness.
I cannot wait to get back on an XC bike !
