EPIC XC open day 21st September 2008 Djouce Woods at 10.00am

Hello, if you are a serious XC rider or a fit person from another discipline and want to be an XC rider and interested in joining EPICmtb, turn up at 10.00am at the lower Car park in Djouce Woods.
definitely not for beginners. 18 years and up.
Richie
Hi Richie, I've been doing xc riding for a few years,.
not sure if id be as savage as you men,but i would be interested in meeting up with your club for a spin on the 21st. Stevo
No harm in turning up Stevo and giving it a lash, we'll see you there,
cheers Richie
Now folks, this is for hardcore XC racer types.
In my book that means Clipless pedals and lycra. So be aware of that before you turn up.
I will assume anybody interested in this day would have some level of competence, fitness can be worked on, but you will definitely want to be racing next season.
Richie
hello,
you bad boys on XC machines need to get up here, especially you triathletes i've been taking to recently...
and of course some bad girls too..new members wanted..
Sounds great, but I'm in the beginner category! New to XC and working on the fitness levels with a few mates.

Is there anything in the pipeline for peeps like me? Does the fact that I'm on Gav's old XTC 2.5 help or hinder me? :)

cheers,

Barry
superted, your name is Mud around here..i heard you went to a triathlon yesterday and didn't come to your clubs event..
Bazzjazz..are you committed, will you work at digging and volunteer for the Blast ?
Committed?

Well, I'll do my best in the time I have. I don't expect to get something for nothing.

Yea that sounds as if you have the same expectations as myself!

Just wondering, does everyone drive out to the djouce carpark? The only way I can see myself being able to get there is cycling (about 30k according to google maps) which I don't mind but just wondering if many people would cycle there, do the spin then cycle back?
No, meet us there..theres only a couple of mental cases do that..just turn up, make sure you have all the gear, and give it a lash.
If you are struggling after the first hour, you can go your own way.
There will be no talk of 2 groups and any of this self bashing. Give it 100% and lets see.
You guys are shooting yourselves down before you start.
If you want to get better you're going to have to stow that sh*t
