EPIC Hot Seat

Some time ago I commissioned a world famous bespoke Joinerer , Fashionista and Sculptor to make me a Hot Seat suitable for the EPIC DH NPS...
well, you will want to have your photo taken sitting on this thing..pictures to follow !!

ooh ooh! - is he the same Fashionistsa that created my lovely forks?
if so then the hot seat will be some sight to behold, in fact, I'm thinkling it should not be sat upon, just gazed at in awe......ahhhhwwwwwe......

Everyone make sure to use the on-line sign on, it makes our lives a lot easier.

Adam, I heard you were looking for marshals on Sunday. I'd be happy to help out if you want.

Team Woof are packing the tent and heading down to Co.Wicklow on Saturday to cover the dh race. We'll be snapping away and taking lots of pictures which will be posted online on our newlook website www.uberdogmagazine.co.uk and we'll be selling the new issue of the magazine - be sure to say hello!

I was out riding the track recently, fair play to whoever scouted the location and those who put in the work to build it. Hope the race goes well for you.

Well, when you see the Hot Seat you will be so impressed you will want to be the person sitting in it !! Its absolutely unbelievably brilliant , as anything produced by EPIC is bound to be !!

Just back from Epic HQ in the Glen and everything is looking deadly, track is savage, the finish line arch is wicked, it's going to be a fantastic weekend, if your not doing anything then you realy should get up to this, you won't regret it.

Have to agree with Gaz the whole place looks brilliant, the crowds have started to build up and all is looking good for a long weekend of craic and of course some serious racing. The open section at the top looks like something straight out of a world cup should be great for both spectators and racers.

That Adam fella is some man for one man.

come on now..get yourself down to The Glen for a savage day out..its a brilliant fun track , everybody can ride...theres a road gap at the top thats easily avoided and probably just as quick going around it anyways !!!
But the rest of it is well doable on a 6" machine..this would be the ideal first DH race for people !!

But...
I have to say fair play to the Marshalls..jesus h christ, the midges in the forest are savage..so hats off to these heroes..
If you are marshalling tomorrow, bring anti midge spray and a camera..the Gully is worth it !!
And a special mention to Bren Masterson, playing a stormer today he was !!
Getting to it is an adventure as well !! only took me an hour from Dun Laoghaire though..really well sign posted from Donard !!
I went home via Aughavanna and Glenmalure....took a little over an hour but spectactular !!
Some fine freakin mountains down there as well !! Got me thinking !!
Well done to everybody involved !!! theres a wide spread of people in the club helping out and volunteering !!

just back from marshaling today. Savage day out and a savage track. The marshals got 2 uplifts when the practice finished, some crack coming down, had the perfect line for where i was marshaling all day, the rest I was all over the place but it was well worth it. The drop into the big gulley is superb, followed by a wall ride, jasus I'd pay the €50 euro just to get the up lifts all day...Well done to the lads. A few Epics on the podium would finish it off, there is some competition out there though!

Yes back from marshalling too, great day out , it is some amazing track ! great to watch the guys and girls flying down it, making it look easy !
There is a great atmosphere down there, great work by Sean, Adam, Bren and all those involved in organising it, people should make the effort to get to this, it is so worth it !!
But the midgies . . .holy sacred cows of outer mongolia , bring jungle grade deet, or that "skin so soft" everyone swears by, just bring something to kill those lil b*****ds !
