you're more than welcome to come along yeah but tomorrows not a DH spin...more a hardcore XC type Old style Sunday Spin..a 6" or a jump bike or an XC bike will be the name of the game.
We have a lot of DHers about, you're more than welcome to tag along on a DH day if you only have a DH bike..

Everybody was deadly including the two teenagers Ryan and Rob..
the pace wasn't exactly social..Alans trail was in primo slidy condition..deadly craic altogether...

that would have been Damo, Alfie and Oscar, fair play to them fast boys, great to see the hard men of the club mixing it up with the new guys and the Sunday spinners.
Great craic, lots of new faces, all getting in the swing of things. Alans trail was awesome, tricky sliddery to the max, searching for traction, carnage everywhere. Benchcut a nice way to end the spin. Really enjoyed that.
holy jeebus, I started at the back and passed some carnage including some of my own making..that track is mental..we'll have to build some savage singletrack back up it to make it easy ( hahhahaahaaaahystericality) to get back up..its the best trail in djouce..if not the Country..even if you get to ride 50% of it you are deadly..
Loved that, that was savage craic, Feeling it now though. Can't believe Alans trail was so sketchy today, Last time I did that was at night and only came off once. Managed about 15% today, what a challenge defo worth a rematch.
That bleeding bridge...declined twice but I regret nothing, I had to weigh up a few seconds of satisfaction versus a lifetime of ridicule if I went headfirst into the river. The risk/reward ratio was way off.
Just in from picking the bark from my handlebars and the shin skin from my peddles. Alan's "ahem" ten trails was certainly memorable. I have some unsuspecting friends I'll unleash that one on should the dark side take me.
It was nice to meet the people knocking around the back of the group with me and to those at the front...... next year maybe :-)
